China (PRC)

China is a region, not a channel. Channel mechanics (storefront, IAP provider, account system) live on the channel pages. This page is rules that apply to any build distributed into mainland China.

A 版号 (game publishing license) is required for full commercial distribution. FRVR China is a registered publisher and can issue licenses directly, but only select titles qualify (registration involves significant work and cost). Loop in FRVR’s CN release engineer before submission.

Internationalization

• MUST ship a Simplified Chinese (zh-CN) string set covering every UI string. English‑only is not approved.
• MUST NOT display Traditional Chinese (zh-TW / zh-HK) as a substitute. Reviewers treat them as distinct locales.
• Currency, date, number formats MUST use zh-CN defaults (CNY).
• Player‑facing copy MUST NOT include politically sensitive geographic terms. Use names and map boundaries that match PRC convention.

Trust & safety

PRC content rules, enforced by both the platform reviewer and FRVR’s CN release review:

• MUST NOT depict blood (red color in violence contexts), corpses, or graphic violence.
• MUST NOT include real‑money gambling mechanics, including roulette / wheel‑of‑fortune visuals.
• MUST NOT depict skeletons or undead in a way that reads as gore.
• MUST NOT reference politically sensitive content (specific historical events, contested borders, anti‑government material).
• MUST NOT include religious imagery or copy that reads as proselytizing.
• MUST NOT include superstition (fortune‑telling, divination).
• Player names and UGC require active moderation. UGC without a moderation plan won’t be approved.

When in doubt, send the asset or mechanic to FRVR’s CN release engineer before integration.
